Credit Valley Conservation, on behalf of the Region of Peel and with the support of the City of Mississauga and Toronto and Region Conservation, has embarked on a project entitled Lakeview Waterfront Connection.

The Lakeview Waterfront Connection Project, an element of the Inspiration Lakeview visioning process for the Mississauga Waterfront, includes the creation of a new park along the eastern Mississauga shoreline. The intended purpose of this project is to enhance and re-create natural coastal habitats, build a natural park that encourages public access, use, and exploration along the waterfront, and facilitate sustainable city building.
