Find tranquility at Glen Haffy Conservation Area. Fish at ponds stocked with rainbow trout, or hike serene trails through mature forests that wind along the Niagara Escarpment and Oak Ridges Moraine.
Glen Haffy Conservation Area is home to a fish hatchery that raises rainbow trout, which are released into the ponds there as well as the lake at Heart Lake Conservation Areas.
Private Rental of Headwaters Trout Ponds
The Headwaters Trout Ponds are available for groups that wish to reserve them for a fly fishing event. Located just 40 minutes north of Toronto, this is the ideal spot for rewarding employees or entertaining customers with a day of fly fishing.
To make a reservation or for more information on the Glen Haffy Headwaters please call 416-667-6295 or email email@example.com.
Glen Haffy Conservation Area’s hiking trails offer some of the most panoramic vistas in southern Ontario. Wide trails weave through a landscape of trees reaching far into the sky. Sunlight splashes through leaves, painting a canvas of light on the forest floor. The only sounds you hear are notes in nature’s melody; a cardinal’s whistle, a bullfrog’s croak.
Both the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail converge at Glen Haffy, offering three serene hiking trails: the Green Trail (0.85 km or 30 minutes), the Red Trail (2.7 km or 60 minutes), and the Blue Trail (2.5 km or 45 minutes).
Have a ball with family and friends this summer. With three large picnic areas, two with shelters, Glen Haffy Conservation Area can easily accommodate groups both large and small. Our friendly customer service representatives will help you determine the best site for your group and will even set you up with caterers, tent rental and entertainment companies.
