Join us for the Duffins Creek Salmon Festival!
People of all ages are invited to view the salmon and explore nature in your own backyard.
We expect to see Chinook salmon in Duffins Creek, as the fish come upstream from Lake Ontario to spawn. The health of land in the surrounding watershed is important for healthy habitat for fish. Healthy watersheds and streams for fish mean healthy land and water for people. We can all play a part in protecting our natural heritage.
Register to sign-up to see salmon, learn about fish habitat, fish migration, and your local natural heritage and take a hike near Duffins Creek. Please note that this event is:
- Family friendly event, but the terrain is not suitable for strollers
- Free Admission: please register
- Event is outdoors and runs rain or shine. Please dress for outdoor activity with closed toe shoes.
We look forward to seeing you there!
